التباين المکاني لإنتاج الذهب في جمهورية جنوب أفريقيا دراسة في الجغرافيا الاقتصادية

     تمتلک جمهورية جنوب أفريقيا رصيداً کبيراً من خامات الذهب وتحتل مراتب متقدمه في إنتاجه على مستوى القارة وعلى مستوى العالم، کما أن هناک تبايناً مکانياً في الإنتاج على مستوى مقاطعات الدولة.
   وقد رصدت أهمية البحث امتلاک جنوب أفريقيا لخامات وفيرة من الذهب مما ساعدها على تشغيل الأيدي العاملة وجذب شرکات أجنبية، وکانت أهم أسباب اختيار موضوع البحث في أهمية دراسة التباينات المکانية من تحليلات مکانية للظاهرات، وتجسدت مشکلة البحث في طرح عدة تساؤلات وفرضيات تمثلت في أن الذهب في الدولة يتم إنتاجه منذ عقود بعيده کما أن الجيولوجيا لعبت دوراً حيوياً في امتلاک الدولة لکميات وفيرة من الذهب، کما اعتمدت الدراسة على مجموعة من المناهج الجغرافية والأساليب الکمية والکارتوجرافية.
   وتمثلت عناصر البحث في دراسة التوزيع الجغرافي لإنتاج الذهب والعوامل المؤثرة في الإنتاج وإنتاج واحتياطي الدولة من الذهب وصولاً إلى دورة الاقتصادي والاجتماعي والتنموي في الدولة وأخيراً التعرف على مشکلات الإنتاج والرؤية المستقبلية للدولة في إنتاجها من الذهب، وخلصت الدراسة إلى مجموعة من النتائج أبرزت مکانه جمهورية جنوب أفريقيا في إنتاج الذهب ومدى مساهمته في إنعاش اقتصاد الدولة وتشغيل الأيدي العاملة، وتمثلت أهم التوصيات في العمل على التوسع في الاستثمار الأجنبي في تعدين الذهب وکذلک التوسع في تکريره محلياً والحد من تصديره في صورته الخام.
