المساجدُ التَّاريخيَّةُ في مدينةِ جِدَّة: مسجدُ الشَّافعيّ ِأُنموذجًا

المستخلص

تناولت الدِّراسة الحديث عن مسجد الشَّافعيِّ، باعتباره أحد أقدم المساجد التَّاريخيَّة في مدينة جِدَّة، من خلال تسليط الضَّوءِ على نشأته وتَطوُّرهِ التَّاريخيِّ، وتحديد موقعه، وذكر مسَّمياته، ووصف عمارته وخَلُصت الدِّراسةُ إلى أهميَّة مسجد الشَّافعيِّ إذْ يُعَدُّ من أقدم المساجد في مدينة جِدَّة، كما أظهرت الدِّراسة أنَّ بناء المسجد كان انعكاسًا لبيئة مدينة جِدَّة، وبيَّنت وجود تشابُهٍ في البناء والتَّصميم بين مساجد جِدَّة التَّاريخيَّة وهو ما حتَّمتْهُ البيئة وطبيعة الموقع والمناخ. 
 The study addressed Al-Shafi'i Mosque, as one of the oldest historical mosques in Jeddah, by shedding light on its emergence and historical development, identifying its location, listing its names, and describing its architecture. The study concluded that Al-Shafi'i Mosque is important as it is deemed one of the oldest mosques in Jeddah. The study also demonstrated that the construction of the mosque was a reflection of the environment of Jeddah, and showed the similarity in construction and design between the historical mosques of Jeddah, which was necessitated by the environment, nature of the site, and climate
